White cabbage of the variety 'Sugar Crunch' is an early-maturing and high-yielding variety, distinguished by stability and high yield indicators. The ripening period from the emergence of the first seedlings to harvest is about 105 days, while from transplanting seedlings into the ground to harvest collection, 44-55 days pass. Heads of this variety are compact, round-shaped, with a rosette diameter of 35-45 cm and a weight from 0.7 to 1.3 kg. Leaves are light green, and inside the cabbage has white flesh with a slight yellowish tint.
The 'Sugar Crunch' variety possesses excellent taste qualities, making it universal for use in cooking. Cabbage can be used for preparing fresh summer salads, as well as for first dishes, for example, summer borscht. Medium density of heads ensures good juiciness and pleasant crunch upon consumption.
Agrotechnology of cultivation includes sowing seeds for seedlings in early March, followed by transplanting in the cotyledon phase. Transplanting seedlings into open ground is recommended to be carried out at the end of April - early May, preferably under film covers, with a row spacing of 50x30 cm. Such an approach provides optimal conditions for plant growth and development, which contributes to obtaining a high-quality and abundant harvest.
