SLOVTSOVSKY

SLOVTSOVSKY is a mid-season leek variety intended for cultivation in personal subsidiary holdings and garden-plot conditions. The plant is of medium height with a strong degree of branching, forming long, up to 36 cm, tubular leaves with a diameter of about 1.6 cm. The leaves are semi-erect, green in color with a medium-intensity waxy coating, possess a semi-sharp taste and a pleasant aroma, making them an excellent choice for fresh consumption.

This variety is distinguished by its high yield: with a one-time harvest of the whole plant it reaches 2.0 kg per square meter, and with multiple cuts of green leaves during the growing season — up to 6.8 kg per square meter. Moreover, SLOVTSOVSKY boasts an increased content of vitamin C, B group vitamins, folic acid, and iron, making it a beneficial and nutritious product.

Leek SLOVTSOVSKY is frost-resistant and capable of growing in one place for up to six years, which facilitates care and increases the economic efficiency of cultivation. It is successfully cultivated both in open ground and in greenhouse conditions. Seeds of this variety are produced by the Tyumen State Agricultural Academy and have a patent, confirming their quality and originality.
