STONE HEAD CABBAGE

Stone Head Cabbage is a late-maturing Polish selection variety, distinguished by its high cold tolerance and resistance to temperature fluctuations. The vegetative period lasts 140-160 days, allowing it to be primarily grown in open ground. The plant has high immunity against diseases such as fusarium, rot, and alternaria, and is not prone to cracking. Outer leaves are dark green, slightly wavy, and heads have a round-flat shape with a dense structure and a small stalk. The mass of the head usually ranges from 3.5-4 kg, but with intensive care, it can reach 6-7 kg.

This cabbage variety is valued for its excellent taste qualities and versatility. Stone Head is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling, pickling in brine, and preparing various dishes, including winter vitamin salads. Due to its high storability, the cabbage can be stored until May, making it one of the best varieties for long-term storage. The yield is 8-11 kg per square meter, and the culture has excellent transportability.

Stone Head Cabbage is frost-resistant down to -8°C and heat-resistant, allowing it to be grown in various climatic conditions. It copes well with temperature fluctuations and is characterized by high resistance to fungal diseases. Thanks to these qualities and high yield, the variety is popular among gardeners who value reliability and crop quality.
