Fist

Onion for scallions of the Fist variety is a mid-early, high-yield hybrid intended for use of fresh leaves. The plant is characterized by medium or high height with one pseudostem and upright leaves up to 60 cm long, which have a rich green color and vertical growth. This variety does not form a bulb, which makes it especially convenient for growing scallions.

Fist has high resistance to peronosporosis, which ensures reliability and stability of the yield even in unfavorable conditions. The vegetation period is 45-50 days, which allows harvesting in the summer-autumn period. To obtain a long white stem, it is recommended to apply hilling, which promotes whitening of the scallions.

The yield of the variety is from 3.6 to 4.0 kg per square meter, which makes it attractive for commercial cultivation. Thanks to its characteristics and resistance, the Fist variety is widely used in agriculture for obtaining high-quality fresh green onion.
