To obtain larger bulbs, growing via seedlings is recommended: seeds are sown for seedlings in March, and transplanted into open ground at the beginning of May according to a 20x10 cm scheme. Direct sowing of seeds into the ground is also possible at the end of April – beginning of May at a depth of 1.0-1.5 cm. For successful growth and abundant fruiting, plants require timely watering, regular weeding, loosening, and feeding with mineral fertilizers.
