Onion ELENKA F1 (CRX 2399)

Field Performance and Reliability: The ЭЛЕНКА F1 Experience

When planning large-scale onion production, selecting the right genetics is crucial for minimizing risks. The ЭЛЕНКА F1 (CRX 2399) hybrid from the German breeder Agri-Saaten stands out due to its high level of resistance to common soil-borne diseases, particularly pink root rot and fusarium wilt. This genetic defense significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, saving on input costs while securing yields.

Optimized for Mechanical Harvesting

With a maturity cycle of 120–130 days, this hybrid offers a predictable harvest window. For commercial operations focusing on efficiency, the mechanical harvestability is a major advantage. The onion’s uniform rounded shape and sturdy, dark-bronze outer skin allow the product to withstand machine handling with minimal bruising or loss. The structural integrity of the bulb is exceptional, which is a key factor during transit and storage.

Quality and Versatility

Whether targeting the fresh market or industrial processing, ЭЛЕНКА F1 delivers high-quality white, crisp flesh. It maintains its density and flavor profile, making it a favorite for salad production and various processing applications. If your farm prioritizes durability, mechanized workflows, and consistent market quality, this Agri-Saaten hybrid is a reliable choice for your planting schedule.
