Description Spontano
Oat variety Spontano is an early-maturing variety registered in the Ukrainian Plant Variety Register in 2009. This variety belongs to the mutica type and is characterized by white medium-grain kernels with good formation. The grain contains 12.6–12.9% protein, meeting the requirements of cereal varieties. The plant stem reaches a height of 102 to 114 cm, and the medium-thickness straw is strong and resistant to lodging.

Biological features of the Spontano variety include a vegetation period of 89 to 102 days, making it medium-maturing. It exhibits high resistance to lodging, drought, and major diseases, ensuring stable yields. Additionally, this variety is poorly damaged by the Swedish fly, which is an additional advantage during cultivation.

The potential yield of Spontano oat reaches 70 centners per hectare, making it attractive for agricultural production. Due to its combination of high productivity, resistance to adverse factors, and grain quality, this variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and can be used both for grain production and other agricultural purposes.
