Description KAMYSHINSKOE 95
The Kamyshinskoe 95 millet variety is a mid-season variety of grain millet (Panicum miliaceum L.) with a vegetation period ranging from 60 to 95 days. Plants reach heights of 60 to 120 cm and possess resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought comparable to standard varieties recommended for cultivation in the Lower Volga region and Volgograd region. The panicle is compact, 15-18 cm long, and dense; the grain is large, round, and bright yellow, with a 1000-grain mass varying from 7 to 9.3 grams. Kamyshinskoe 95 is distinguished by high resistance to smut and is weakly affected by melanose, ensuring yield stability and grain quality.

The variety yields at a good level, reaching up to 42 centners per hectare, with an average yield of about 17 centners per hectare and record indicators reaching 47.9 centners per hectare. The groats from this millet are characterized by a high yield—77.3 to 79.7%, with a glassy embryo that does not fracture during threshing, facilitating the production of bright yellow rice with a loose consistency and good taste qualities. Threshability is quite easy, which simplifies technological processing and use in the food industry.

The Kamyshinskoe 95 variety is recommended for cultivation in regions with a moderate climate where drought resistance and disease resistance are important. It possesses valuable technological and culinary qualities, making it in demand for the production of groats and rice. Thanks to the combination of high yield, resistance to adverse conditions, and excellent nutritional characteristics, this variety is a reliable choice for agricultural producers.
