Description ALBINOS
ALBINOS — ultra-early variety of yellow millet, characterized by a short growing period from 48 to 55 days and high yield potential reaching up to 72 centners per hectare. Plants of this variety grow up to a height of 80-96 cm, while the grain yield is 78-84%. The variety has resistance to high temperatures, shedding, and common diseases such as head blight and melanosis, making it especially valuable for direct combining.

Millet ALBINOS is characterized by good technological and culinary properties. Over years of testing, there have been no cases of disease infestation recorded, which confirms its resistance and reliability in agronomic terms. The grain is oval, white in color, with a 1000-grain weight ranging from 5.7 to 7.3 grams. The absence of anthocyanin pigmentation of the glume is an additional feature of the variety.

The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Ural region and Orenburg Oblast, where it demonstrates drought resistance and shedding above average. The average yield in these regions is about 12.9 centners per hectare, while maximum rates reach 36.1 centners per hectare. Due to its agronomic qualities and high productivity, ALBINOS is an excellent choice for millet production.
