Melon Retro

Consistent Yields for Large-Fruit Melon Production

The «Retro» melon variety from NPK «Sembiotek» is designed for professional farming operations looking to combine high yield potential with standardized fruit sizing. This variety reaches maturity in 70–75 days, offering a predictable timeline that facilitates efficient harvesting and market logistics.

Agronomic Management and Field Performance

Given the fruit weight range of 3.0 to 6.0 kg, «Retro» requires precise irrigation management and balanced nutrition to reach its full potential. The flesh is characterized by a creamy texture and firm consistency, which significantly reduces damage risk during transport—a vital requirement for supplying retail chains and produce distributors.

• Market-Driven Planning: The mid-early maturity cycle allows growers to enter the market efficiently, ensuring high-quality produce availability before the peak of the season.
• Optimized Yield: Responsive to drip irrigation and intensive fertilizer programs, the variety delivers uniform large fruits suitable for premium-tier sales.
• Quality Assurance: Sourcing seed stock from NPK «Sembiotek» ensures strict adherence to varietal specifications, providing the uniformity required for large-scale agricultural projects.

For operations aiming to balance output volume with high commercial standards, «Retro» serves as a reliable tool. It is particularly well-suited for regions with long growing seasons, where its ability to maintain flesh integrity at larger fruit sizes makes it a top choice for commercial growers targeting the fresh market.
