Melon Dionysia

Dionysia melon is a medium-early, high-yielding variety with a vegetative period of 70 to 88 days, depending on growing conditions. The fruits are round or round-oval in shape, with a golden-yellow color and a uniform netting on the surface. Average fruit weight ranges from 1.6 to 4 kg, making this variety attractive for both fresh consumption and processing.

The flesh of Dionysia melon is light cream or white in color, with medium to significant thickness — from 2.5 to 6 cm. It is tender, juicy, crisp, and very sweet, ensuring high flavor quality. Due to its taste and flesh structure, this variety is ideal for fresh consumption as well as various forms of processing.

The Dionysia variety shows good resistance to powdery mildew and bacterial spot, contributing to stable yields and reduced losses during cultivation.
