Description REIMEL
Reimel F1 watermelon is a mid-late hybrid of the Piell de Sapo type, distinguished by high yield and excellent taste. The maturation period is 80-85 days, allowing for fruits weighing from 3 to 6 kilograms with white, juicy, and crisp flesh. The fruit skin is green, strong, with a netted structure and slight ribbing, giving them an attractive and unusual appearance. The flesh has a high sugar content—about 12-13%, which ensures a sweet and rich taste.

This hybrid has high resistance to major watermelon diseases, such as fusarium and powdery mildew, as well as to the mottle mosaic virus of watermelon. Thanks to these qualities, as well as adaptability to intensive cultivation technologies, Reimel F1 is suitable for cultivation in open ground, as well as in film greenhouses and tunnels in spring. The fruits withstand transportation well and can be stored for up to three months, which makes them convenient for marketing and long-term storage.

Reimel F1 watermelon is characterized by high yield, reaching 151-301 centners per hectare when grown on bare ground. Seeds of this variety are suitable for cultivation for both the fresh market and processing. Resistance to sunburn and strong skin ensure the preservation of fruits during harvesting and transportation, making this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers and gardeners seeking to obtain a high-quality and tasty crop.
