To form high-quality fruits, it is important to remove side shoots and pinch back vines, as well as reduce watering during the fruiting period to enhance fruit sweetness. Luna variety fruits have an oval or spherical shape with a smooth surface and a faintly defined netting. Their color ranges from lemon to yellow-orange, with a mass reaching from 0.7 to 4.5 kg. The rind is of medium thickness, flexible yet firm, protecting the juicy and dense flesh, which is distinguished by its white or light shade, grainy texture, and strong musky aroma. The seed chamber is small, and the flesh thickness can reach up to 8 cm. The fruits have excellent taste qualities, being sweet and juicy, which makes the melon particularly attractive to consumers. The Luna variety is noted for its hardiness and good transportability, allowing it to maintain fruit quality during transport and storage. Yield ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 kg per square meter. Fruits are resistant to cracking, further enhancing their shelf life.
