Zucchini Jade

Technical Potential of 'Nefrit' Zucchini

The 'Nefrit' zucchini variety by Moravoseed is a hallmark of Czech plant breeding, specifically optimized for high-yield, compact production. With a maturity window of 50-55 days, this variety enables growers to reach peak harvest cycles ahead of common seasonal pests, effectively reducing the need for intensive chemical intervention.

Fruit Morphology and Commercial Standards

The variety is engineered to meet rigorous market demands for uniformity. The fruits possess a consistent cylindrical shape, typically measuring 16-18 cm in length. Weighing between 200-500 grams, the fruits are calibrated to prevent 'over-ripening,' which ensures that the produce remains attractive for retail display and consumer use.

Agrotechnical Advantages

• The bush-type growth habit facilitates streamlined maintenance, including easier irrigation management and harvesting, while promoting optimal aeration within the plant canopy.
• The deep green color, stabilized through the efforts of breeders (M. Alexashova, P. Klapste, J. Horal, Y. Alexeev), provides superior market appeal and shelf-life stability.
• The robust genetic framework ensures reliable fruit set even under moderate environmental stress conditions.

The 'Nefrit' variety is designed for producers who require a predictable, high-quality output. Its technical specifications allow for efficient management of labor and resources, making it a reliable choice for professional vegetable production.
