Black Beauty

Zucchini 'Black Beauty' is a mid-early variety with a period from germination to the beginning of fruiting of 45-55 days. The plant is bushy, compact, with deeply dissected leaves and high leafiness. From 3 to 5 cylindrical fruits form on one bush with a smooth or slightly ribbed surface. The fruits have dark green glossy skin, a length of 16 to 23 cm, and a mass of 0.5 to 1.7 kg. The flesh is greenish-white, dense, juicy, and tender, which makes this variety especially valuable for culinary use. The variety is characterized by high yield - up to 14-20 kg per square meter, as well as a long fruiting period in the spring-summer season. 'Black Beauty' zucchini have excellent taste qualities, suitable for boiling, stewing, frying, pickling and canning. The fruits tolerate long storage well, maintain freshness for about three months, and are suitable for transportation over long distances, which makes them convenient for commercial cultivation and sales.
