Description Sanvicente
Sanvicente watermelon is a mid-early hybrid of the Honey Dew type, developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan. The plant is robust, with a well-developed root system and good coverability, ensuring reliable nutrition and protection. The hybrid is resistant to stresses and major diseases of cucurbits, including HRFom:0,2 and IRPx (ex Sf):2-4, which contributes to stable yields and reduced losses.

The fruits of Sanvicente watermelon are round with an attractive smooth, light-white rind that turns slightly yellow upon overripening. Fruit weight varies from 2 to 4 kg, with creamy flesh having a slight greenish tint and a small seed cavity. Sugar content in the flesh reaches 14-16%, ensuring excellent taste and aroma. Thanks to its high transportability, the watermelon retains its qualities during transit and is primarily marketed fresh.

The hybrid matures 70-75 days after transplanting seedlings to the field, allowing for precise harvest planning. Recommended planting density is 5-6 thousand seeds per hectare. Seeds are packaged by the manufacturer in quantities of 100 and 1000, convenient for various cultivation scales. Sanvicente watermelon is suitable for both commercial cultivation and personal gardens, combining high yield, resistance, and superior taste qualities.
