DSM 10

DSM 10 is a medium-early watermelon hybrid intended for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including the North Caucasus region. The vegetative period from mass germination to the first harvest is about 70 days, allowing for harvest in a relatively short time. The leaf blade is of medium size with moderate serration, which promotes good development and stability of the crop.

DSM 10 fruits have an elliptical shape and bright yellow color with a dense and thick network characteristic of this variety. Average fruit weight reaches 5 kg, maximum up to 7 kg, which significantly exceeds the indicators of many other hybrids. The flesh is yellowish-white, thick, juicy, and melting in texture, possessing high taste qualities confirmed by a tasting score of 5 points. Seeds are medium-sized, cream-yellow in color, with a shape resembling a pine nut.

This hybrid is characterized by high market yield, reaching 1070 c/ha, making it attractive for commercial cultivation. Fruits are well transported over long distances, expanding their marketing opportunities. Thanks to the juicy and aromatic flesh, DSM 10 is popular among producers and consumers. Recommended for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses; in northern regions, the seedling method is advisable to ensure optimal growth conditions.
