TAJNYAN

Tajnyan is a hardy berry shrub capable of withstanding temperatures down to -35 °C and growing in various climatic conditions due to its high winter hardiness, heat tolerance, and drought resistance. The mature plant reaches 1–2 meters in height, featuring a strongly growing, spreading bush with an oval shape and straight green shoots.

The berries are medium-sized (up to 0.85 g), teardrop-shaped, blue in color with a thin skin, possessing a sweet-and-sour taste and a delicate aroma. They contain approximately 12.4% sugars, 3.6% acids, and 66 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of product, making them valuable both fresh and for making jams, compotes, and desserts.

The variety has high yield – up to 109 c/ha, and the maturation period is mid-early (from July to September). The plant is well pollinated cross-wise, so for maximum yield, it is recommended to plant several different varieties nearby. Care includes regular watering, fertilizing, and pruning, while the plant is less susceptible to diseases and pests.
