PRIDE OF BAKCHARA

PRIDE OF BAKCHARA is a large-fruited variety of honeysuckle with a medium and late ripening period that stands out for its outstanding yield and large berry size. The bushes reach a height of up to 160 cm and a width of up to 120 cm, while each shoot produces many fruits. Berries have an intense purple color with a waxy coating, length up to 4 cm and weight up to 5.5 g. Taste dessert, sour-sweet, evaluated by tasting experts at the level of 4.8 points.

The variety is distinguished by its high resistance to adverse climatic conditions: it is frost-resistant, has a high immunity, and can maintain yield even at low temperatures. Thanks to stable high yields (up to 4 kg from one bush) and versatile use of berries, PRIDE OF BAKCHARA is great for both fresh consumption and freezing, processing into jams, compotes or liqueurs.

For optimal fruiting, it is recommended to plant several seedlings of different honeysuckle varieties (for example, "Daughter of the Giant", "Enthusiasm" or "Bakchar giant") for cross-pollination. However, the self-infertile nature of the variety allows you to grow it in single-varietal beds as well, while maintaining a high yield. The bushes are easy to grow throughout Ukraine without the need for winter protection.
