Honeysuckle PRIDE OF BAKCHARA

Legendary Siberian Breeding

The 'Gordost Bakchara' honeysuckle (Bakchar Pride) is widely recognized as a benchmark among large-fruited varieties developed by the specialists at OGUP 'Bakcharskoye'. This variety is the result of years of research by breeders N. V. Savinkova and A. T. Tkacheva, who created a plant that now sets quality standards in the berry market. Bred in the harsh Siberian climate, it possesses remarkable vitality and adaptability.

Agronomic Characteristics and Potential

The key feature of 'Gordost Bakchara' is the combination of impressive berry size with high productivity. The bushes reach a height of 1.5–2.0 meters, forming a spreading crown that is convenient for harvesting. A stable yield of 3.0–4.0 kg per bush makes this variety economically attractive for both small family farms and commercial plantations.

Market Applications

The variety is versatile in its use:

• Fresh Market: due to its dessert-like taste and firm skin, the berries handle transportation well and are in high demand in the premium consumer segment.
• Processing: high levels of vitamins and pectins allow the harvest to be used for high-quality jams, preserves, and natural juices.
• Freezing: the variety maintains its shape and flavor profile after deep freezing, which is essential for off-season sales.

OGUP 'Bakcharskoye' holds the patent for this variety, ensuring the purity of the genetic material. By choosing 'Gordost Bakchara', producers secure reliable planting stock with predictable, high returns, which is critical for the profitability of any agribusiness.
