Honeysuckle FIREY OPAL

Agronomic Profile of Honeysuckle «Ognenny Opal»

The «Ognenny Opal» honeysuckle cultivar, offered by the «FANZA» brand, is a selection product engineered for high-yield berry production. With its origin trace back to Av Du Capitaine N Tchorere 80270 Airaines France, this variety is designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern horticultural enterprises.

Technical Specifications and Morphology

• Berry weight: 0.8–1.2 grams, ensuring consistent market-grade appearance for fresh sales.
• Plant habit: The shrub reaches a height of 1.5–2.0 meters, featuring a structural frame suitable for efficient maintenance and pruning.
• Yield: 3.0–4.0 kg per bush under standard intensive agricultural practices.

Operational Performance

The core advantage of «Ognenny Opal» lies in its flavor complexity: a sweet-and-sour profile paired with a distinct bitterness. For processors, this ensures a high-quality raw material with an intense aromatic profile. For the fresh market, this specific aftertaste is a desirable characteristic that sets the product apart.

Technically, the variety is optimized for high-density planting. The vertical growth habit (up to 2 meters) facilitates effective sunlight penetration, which is vital for uniform fruit maturation. This architectural efficiency is crucial for maximizing yield per square meter and ensuring structural longevity of the planting.
