Description Ogonek
The 'Ogonek' strawberry variety is a perennial herbaceous plant, 30-35 cm tall, distinguished by large, bright red berries with a unique nutmeg aroma and very sweet taste. The firm flesh of the berries ensures good preservation, while strong and tall flower stalks prevent contact with the soil, reducing the risk of disease. This variety has medium yield and is suitable for cultivation on various soil types, including loamy, clay, and clayey soils.

'Ogonek' is the result of breeding work, obtained by crossing hybrid forms, which ensures it has low-level disease resistance and a medium maturity period. The plant is winter-hardy, however, prolonged frosts without a snow cover can lead to its death. Due to its ornamental value, the 'Ogonek' strawberry can be grown not only in open ground but also as a potted culture.

This variety is ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for making desserts, canning, and freezing. The berries retain their taste and aroma under various processing methods, making 'Ogonek' a versatile choice for gardeners and strawberry enthusiasts.
