Lettuce Vili

Vili (Vili) lettuce is a medium-maturing head lettuce type Lollo Bionda, developed by the breeding company Enza Zaden. This variety forms a medium to large rosette, approximately 20 cm in diameter and up to 1 kg in weight. The leaves are light green, glossy, succulent, and well-lobed, giving them an attractive appearance and pleasant taste. Due to its moderate head formation speed, the lettuce can remain on the root for a long time without losing quality, ensuring convenient storage and transport.

The Vili variety is highly resistant to adverse factors: it is immune to downy mildew, tomato bushy dwarf virus, and tolerant to lettuce mosaic virus. Additionally, the plant does not bolt and is resistant to leaf edge burn, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various conditions. The variety is adaptable and performs well in different cultivation methods, including open ground, greenhouses, and hydroponics, allowing year-round production.

Care for Vili lettuce is standard for this type: maintaining soil moisture, loosening, thinning, and fertilizing as needed. The leaves are primarily used fresh and are excellent for garnishing dishes, appetizers, and meat dishes. Due to its good marketability and resistance to transport, Vili lettuce is a convenient and versatile product for both consumers and producers.
