Gondar lettuce is an early hybrid head lettuce variety of the Iceberg type, developed by the Dutch seed company Nunhems Zaden. This variety is characterized by rapid growth and the formation of neat, medium-density heads weighing about 500 grams. The lettuce leaves have a rich green color, ranging from light to dark green, with finely serrated edges and prominent veins. They are juicy, sweet, and non-bitter, making the lettuce ideal for fresh consumption and use as a garnish for dishes.
Gondar exhibits high stress tolerance and adaptability to growing conditions, enabling successful cultivation both in open and protected soil throughout the entire season, from spring to autumn.
