Lettuce Exponent

Exponent — this is a leafy lettuce variety with large green leaves of rich color and crisp texture. The plant rosette is voluminous, and the leaves are lobed, giving the lettuce an attractive appearance and a pleasant crisp taste. The variety is distinguished by its high vigor and rapid growth, enabling harvests in a short time.

Lettuce Exponent is suitable for year-round cultivation, both in open ground and using hydroponics. It tolerates adverse conditions, including summer heat, and exhibits high resistance to diseases and pests such as downy mildew, leaf necrosis, lettuce aphid, and bolting. Thanks to these qualities, the variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and ensures a stable yield.

The maturation period is 35-45 days, with individual plant weight reaching 350-450 grams. The lettuce has good transportability and long storage life, making it convenient for distribution and use fresh. It is recommended for consumption both as individual leaves and in green mixes. The breeder of this variety is the company Rijk Zwaan from the Netherlands.
