Lettuce Cantrell

Cantrell lettuce is a type of Dubolistic variety with small-leafed production, characterized by red color and strong leaf structure. The leaves have a narrow leaf base and vertical rosette, providing a very small cutting area and high resistance to damage. Due to these characteristics, the lettuce is suitable for fresh markets and fresh consumption, and its shape and color meet market standards.

This variety is versatile in cultivation and can be grown in open ground, protected ground, and hydroponically. Cantrell is suitable for spring, summer, and autumn seasons, and also allows for year-round cultivation. Thanks to its narrow leaves, the lettuce retains its qualities even during prolonged field storage, making it convenient for mechanical harvesting and ensuring high yields.

The variety shows resistance to several diseases, including Bl:16-36, EU/Nr:0 and IR: LMV:1, which enhances its reliability and product quality. The producer is Rijk Zwaan, guaranteeing high selection and quality standards. Cantrell is ideal for use in salad mixes and fresh consumption, providing a stable and high-quality yield under various growing conditions.
