Lettuce 4 SEASONS

The "4 SEASONS" (4 SEZONA) leaf lettuce from the "Scientific and Production Firm Russian Seeds" (NPF Rossiyskie Semena) is a specialized variety engineered for high-intensity, early-season production. The technical focus of this selection is the optimization of the leaf rosette development cycle, allowing for rapid biomass accumulation.

Technical Specifications and Plant Architecture

As a leaf-type lettuce, the variety avoids the energy-intensive process of head formation, redirecting resources into the rapid growth of tender foliage. This architectural choice significantly reduces the risks associated with internal rot, which is common in denser head varieties under high-humidity conditions.

• Plant Type: Leafy, ensuring optimal spacing and air circulation.
• Coloration: Vibrant green, indicating high chlorophyll density and photosynthetic efficiency.
• Maturity: Early-ripening, allowing for multiple rotations within a single growing season.

Cultivation and Practical Application

The genetics developed by the originators—Evro-Semena and NPF Russian Seeds—are designed to perform well in fluctuating temperature environments. The growth habit of the "4 SEASONS" variety allows for dense planting patterns, maximizing yield per square meter. From a practical standpoint, the variety is highly responsive to managed irrigation protocols, which are critical for maintaining the crisp texture and preventing premature bolting. Whether in open fields or protected tunnel systems, the variety offers a reliable technical path to high-quality greens.
