Novaria F1 — a mid-season hybrid of cauliflower, developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. The vegetation period is 75–80 days from transplanting seedlings into open ground, allowing cultivation during the late summer and autumn periods. Plants form upright, dark green leaf rosettes with wavy edges, possessing excellent self-shading ability, which protects flower heads from sun and pests. Cauliflower heads are snowy white, dense, even, weighing from 1.5 to 2.5 kg, with simultaneous ripening, facilitating harvest and enhancing product marketability.
The hybrid is characterized by high yield and resistance to sudden temperature fluctuations, both heat and low temperatures, making it stress-tolerant and reliable for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The plant prefers fertile, well-drained, and wind-permeable soils rich in organic matter. For successful cultivation, standard agronomic practices are recommended: soil loosening, regular watering, and fertilization with nitrogen and phosphorus-potassium fertilizers.
Novaria F1 cauliflower is versatile in use: suitable for fresh vegetable markets, processing, freezing, and preparing various dishes. Thanks to its good transportability and disease resistance, this hybrid is an excellent choice for both farmers and industrial producers aiming to obtain high-quality and consistent cauliflower yields.
