This variety features a robust, round rosette with double, intensely green leaves that have a dense structure and a pleasant delicate flavor. The rosette weight reaches approximately 400 grams, ensuring high marketability and attractiveness for fresh markets and salad mixes.
The vegetative period of Biondonna is 45-50 days from transplanting seedlings. The variety is suitable for cultivation both outdoors and under protected conditions — under plastic cover or in greenhouses, enabling year-round production. Optimal planting conditions are sunny areas without drafts, preferably following cabbage or potatoes. The leaves are resistant to tip burn, which enhances crop quality.
