Lettuce Bona

Consistent Yields with Polish Precision

The «Bona» lettuce variety, developed by PlantiCo (Golebiew), represents a reliable solution for producers looking to combine early maturation with high marketability. In the competitive lettuce market, this variety stands out due to its ability to form a large, dense rosette of light-green leaves, ensuring both visual appeal and transport durability.

Agronomic Advantages and Efficiency

The core strength of the «Bona» variety is its versatility. It performs consistently across various environmental conditions, making it an excellent choice for open-field cultivation. For commercial growers supplying supermarkets or processing facilities, the large size and heavy mass of the head are crucial factors in maximizing yield per hectare.

• Plant Density: A recommended planting density of 90,000 to 100,000 plants per hectare is optimal. This spacing facilitates proper airflow, reducing the risk of rot and ensuring uniform development of every head.
• Visual Quality: The characteristic light-green color and well-structured rosette provide excellent shelf presence, making it a preferred choice for retailers.
• Production Economics: Larger heads allow for more efficient harvesting and packing processes, which directly improves the farm's profit margins.

Why Choose «Bona»?

«Bona» is designed for farmers who prioritize a balance between production costs and output. Unlike many high-maintenance foreign hybrids, the PlantiCo (Golebiew) variety is less demanding, allowing for cost-effective crop management without compromising quality. If you are looking for a reliable European variety with clear agronomic protocols, this is an excellent, tested option for your production cycle.
