Lozano salad is an early semi-heading type Lollo Bionda variety developed by the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan. This variety features a compact rosette with finely cut, curly light-green leaves that are crisp and juicy. The weight of one plant can reach 350-450 grams, and the vegetative period is 45-50 days, allowing for a quick harvest.
Lozano is versatile in cultivation: it grows successfully both in open ground and in covered ground, including polytunnels, and is also suitable for hydroponics.
