Smooth brome Engina

Reliable Foundation for Long-Term Forage

Smooth brome variety 'Engina' from the Dutch breeding expertise of Innoseed b.v. is a top-tier choice for establishing durable pastures or hayfields with high yield potential. Engineered for strength, the variety focuses on developing a robust turf that survives intensive management over several years without losing its nutritional value or density.

Practical Field Application

• High-Intensity Pasture Management: The variety demonstrates excellent resistance to trampling. This makes 'Engina' a strategic asset for livestock farms that require persistent grass cover even under heavy grazing pressure.
• Optimized Fodder Harvesting: Known for high leafiness and rapid regrowth after cutting, this variety provides high-protein biomass, making it an excellent candidate for haylage and silage production.
• Soil Conservation and Stabilization: The extensive root architecture of 'Engina' is ideal for slope stabilization, erosion control, and improving overall soil structure, serving as a vital tool for sustainable land management.

Choosing 'Engina' by Innoseed b.v. provides producers with reliable performance. Its winter hardiness and ability to maintain productivity during dry spells allow it to adapt to various soil conditions, from lowland areas to elevated fields with moderate moisture.
