This bromegrass is low-maintenance in operation. The main advantage we noted during use is its resistance to frequent mowing. If you run a farm with an intensive cycle, «Light» forgives errors in the mowing schedule. In terms of green mass yield, it consistently stays above the average for the bromegrass class. Its root system is powerful, which is critical for preventing soil erosion on sloped areas.

Features of the «Grill» Designation

The «Grill» label in this case refers to its specialized ability to create a dense sod layer that withstands high mechanical stress. It is an ideal choice if you need to set up high-traffic zones where the grass is constantly subjected to livestock hooves or equipment. The sod turns out dense, resistant to trampling, and recovers quickly after intensive grazing.

Maintenance and Care

• Irrigation: The variety is drought-tolerant, although for maximum sod density in high-traffic zones, it requires adequate moisture during the active growth phase.
• Fertilization: It responds well to nitrogen fertilizers but does not require excessive chemical input — the variety is genetically healthy and resistant to common leaf spot diseases.
• Repairability: Its high vegetative propagation capacity allows the grassland to naturally fill in bare patches without the need for overseeding.
