Smooth brome grass "AMUR 54" is a high-yield grass variety intended for seeded pastures and hay meadows in the southern zone of the Amur region. The sowing rate is 16-20 kg/ha, with plant height reaching 60–150 cm and green mass of 25–30 t/ha. Yield varies from 1.2 to 6 t/ha, making it a competitive choice for farmers seeking maximum returns with moderate resources.

The variety is distinguished by its resistance to various climatic conditions: it withstands prolonged flooding by flowing flood waters (up to 40 days and more) but cannot tolerate high groundwater levels. At the same time, smooth brome "AMUR 54" has high winter hardiness and frost resistance, allowing it to be used as a stabilizing element on slopes or areas prone to erosion.

In combination with alfalfa (variety Marusinskaya-425), the optimal mixture "smooth brome 18.2 + alfalfa 9.6 kg/ha" ensures high productivity and nutritional value of the feed.
