The "Anniversary" variety is a highly effective brome grass developed through scientific and production research. It is distinguished by early regrowth and resistance to rust and ergot, making it particularly valuable for hay-making use. Green mass yield reaches 258 centners per hectare, while hay yield is 85 c/ha, with seed production of about 5 c/ha.
The plant has an erect bush, 100 to 177 cm tall, with round stems and medium softness. Leaves are lanceolate, hairless, with a slight waxy coating, and the inflorescences are semi-squeezed panicles. Bushiness is strong, ensuring a dense structure of the sowing plot and increased resistance to mechanical damage.
"Anniversary" possesses high winter hardiness and drought resistance, as well as frost resistance, allowing its use in a wide range of climatic zones – from the Volga-Vyatka to the Far Eastern region. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety is suitable both for hay-making and pasturage purposes and for producing high-quality fodder.
