SOLARIS TAMANSKY

The Solaris grape variety is a white technical variety bred by German breeders, characterized by early ripening and high yield. The bushes are vigorous, with medium-sized clusters and a relatively loose structure. The berries are round, white in color, with juicy flesh and high sugar content, which ensures a harmonious combination of sugar and acidity. Ripening occurs very early, which allows this variety to be used both for winemaking and for fresh consumption.

The Solaris variety has high frost resistance, withstanding temperatures up to -25°C, and is also resistant to major fungal diseases such as mildew and oidium, which reduces the need for frequent treatments. With proper agrotechnology, including ensuring good ventilation of the bushes and controlling the magnesium level in the soil, problems with gray mold and other diseases can be avoided. It is important to avoid dense formations and to remove lower leaves in early June to improve ventilation.

White wines of high quality with a bright fruity bouquet are obtained from Solaris grapes, in which notes of pineapple, hazelnut, honey, and flowers are felt. The wines differ in full-bodiedness, strength, and balanced acidity, often with residual sugar. Due to the high sugar content, reaching up to 30% in October, and the slow decrease in acidity, wines from this variety have a harmonious taste and can successfully combine with other varieties to create complex blends.
