Augalia is a table grape variety with very early ripening, distinguished by high yield and a harmonious taste with a light muscat note. Bushes have medium vigor, and shoots ripen well, contributing to stable plant development. Bunches are large, weighing from 250 to 350 grams, loose or medium density, wide-conical in shape. Berries are white with a greenish-golden hue and a weak waxy bloom, round-oval, large — weighing 3.7-5 grams. Skin is thin and dense, pulp is crisp, and berries contain 1-2 seeds.
The variety is characterized by good resistance to fungal diseases, outperforming many Euro-Asian varieties in this regard. However, winter hardiness in Augalia is not high, so covering for winter is required for successful cultivation. Leaves are deeply or medium-cut with moderate indumentum of the lower surface, which also contributes to adaptation to climatic conditions.
Augalia is suitable for cultivation in fruit gardens, especially in regions with a moderate climate. Sugar content of berries is 16-18%, acidity is 6.5-7.5 g/L, which ensures a pleasant and balanced taste. Due to its characteristics and qualities, the variety is recommended for testing and cultivation in the North Caucasus region, including Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Adygea.
