Grape NORTHERN BEAUTY

NORTHERN BEAUTY is a table grape variety bred by the scientists of the I.V. Michurin All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Growing and Breeding. The bushes have great vigor, and the clusters are large, conical, and branched. The berries are large, weakly oval, white in color with a pinkish or brownish tan on the sun. The flesh is meaty and juicy with a pleasant sweet taste, which makes this variety popular for fresh consumption.

The variety is characterized by high yield and ripens in about 110 days, usually in late August. The grapes have a sugar content of 16-17 g/100 ml and acidity of about 5.4 g/l. A feature of the variety is the high content of folic acid, reaching 0.23 mg/%, which gives it healing properties and makes it in demand for juice production.

NORTHERN BEAUTY has high frost resistance, withstanding temperatures of -25...-26°C, which allows growing it in regions with severe winters. Despite susceptibility to diseases such as mildew and oidium, the variety is valued for its taste qualities and versatility of application — it is suitable not only for fresh consumption, but also for making wines and infusions.
