MANITU

Festuca arundinacea variety 'MANITU' is high-quality lawn grass seed Festuca arundinacea ‘Manitou’, obtained from a hybrid hexaploid variety developed by the German company Deutsche Saatveredelung AG. 15kg seeds are intended for sowing as dense and durable turf cover on public areas, parks, sports arenas, and other open spaces.

The variety is characterized by high seeding density and excellent tolerance to drought, diseases, and mechanical stress. The recommended seeding rate is 3-4 kg per 100 m² at a sowing depth of 2-3 cm. Light green seeds sprout quickly, forming a dense green cover with a wide stripe that retains its brightness even during periods of low temperatures.

MANITU is characterized by a moderate tendency to form heads in the first year of sowing and early flowering in the second year. The plant is intermediate when flowering, low-low growth, and the flag leaf is of medium width.
