Fescue HARDTOP

Dutch Selection for the Perfect Lawn

Hardtop fescue by Barenbrug Holland is a professional-grade choice for creating decorative surfaces where aesthetics meet high resistance to external stress. Developed by breeders in the Netherlands, this variety has established itself firmly in the premium lawn seed market, catering to landscape design and private garden projects.

Variety Features and Application

Hardtop (Festuca trachyphylla) belongs to the hard fescue category. Unlike many other turf grasses, this variety demonstrates a remarkable ability to maintain its decorative appeal even in conditions of moisture deficit and on poor soils. Reaching a height of 20-40 cm, it allows for reduced mowing frequency while maintaining a well-groomed look for extended periods.

• Adaptability: The variety handles dry spells exceptionally well, making it an optimal choice for regions with hot summers.
• Aesthetics: It forms a dense, uniform sward with a pleasant color that retains its visual appeal well into late autumn.
• Usage: Perfectly suited for decorative landscaping in parks, private gardens, and the grounds surrounding commercial or administrative buildings.

Barenbrug Holland's reputation as the originator is backed by rigorous quality control during the seed selection process. By choosing Hardtop, landscape professionals and property owners secure a predictable outcome: a lawn that requires less intense maintenance while consistently looking professional and tidy.
