The «Grinslivs» oat variety is a high-yielding option specifically developed for cultivation in moderate climates. The seeds are characterized by large grains with a bright red hue and a dense outer layer, which ensures good soil permeability and resistance to mechanical damage.
Under optimal conditions, the yield of this variety reaches 4–5 t/ha. It is distinguished by high resistance to various diseases: loose smut, powdery mildew, as well as pests – mites and caterpillars. Due to these properties, «Grinslivs» is suitable for mixed crops with wheat, corn, and soy.
Sowing is recommended in May–June at a density of 15–20 plants/m² at a soil temperature of +10 to +25 °C. The variety has good winter hardiness and maintains high protein content in the grain, making it attractive for both agricultural production and the food industry.
