The OZORNIK dill variety is an early-to-mid-season crop with a spicy and strong aroma, valued for its high vitamin content as well as iron, iodine, and potassium salts. The plant reaches a height of about 20 cm and forms a large, well-formed rosette of blue-green leaves with a waxy coating. The leaves are deeply cut, which gives dill an attractive appearance and enhances its aroma. Thanks to the raised rosette, good air circulation is ensured, preventing rot and promoting healthy growth.
The OZORNIK variety features a semi-spreading and highly leafy plant type, which makes it resistant to adverse weather conditions and allows for successful cultivation of dill both in open ground and at home on a windowsill or balcony. The mass of one plant at harvest is 25-35 grams, while the marketable yield reaches 1.6 kg per square meter. The plant takes a long time to form an umbel, allowing the greens to be used for a longer period.
Dill OZORNIK is recommended to be grown in rows with 12-15 cm spacing between rows and sowing seeds at a depth of 0.5-1.0 cm. Greens can be cut 2-3 weeks after seedlings appear. Seeds of this variety are also suitable for obtaining sprouts. Thanks to its taste qualities and high aroma, dill OZORNIK is ideal for daily use in fresh form and serves as an excellent spicy addition to traditional dishes.
