Dill Mamont

Ukrainian fennel variety Mamont is a mid-early and medium-maturing variety with a rapid vegetation period, which lasts about 38-45 days to obtain greens and 75-80 days to collect seeds for spices. The plant forms a voluminous and lush rosette of leaves, distinguished by their large size, juiciness, and dark green color with a bluish tint. Leaves have a delicate texture, covered with a light waxy coating, which prevents yellowing and contributes to long-term freshness preservation. The height of the adult plant reaches 70 cm, and in the flowering phase can reach 150-160 cm, indicating vigorous growth and strong bushes.

The variety is universal in application and suitable for growing both in open ground and in greenhouses. Uкроп Mamont can be grown both in spring and autumn, using the conveyor method of sowing with an interval of 2-3 weeks for constant fresh green supply throughout the entire vegetation period. The plant requires sunlight and well-drained soil, as well as regular loosening and weed removal for optimal growth.

Uкроп Mamont possesses a rich aroma that perfectly complements fresh dishes, marinades, soups, and spices. Its leaves are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, drying, and canning. Slow formation of umbels allows the greenery to retain its qualities longer, increasing the usage period. Up to 2-3 kg of greens can be collected from one square meter, which makes this variety profitable and convenient for home growing and use.
