Description Uvalen
The "UVALEN" Daikon is an early-maturing variety that is ready for harvest quickly: it takes only 45–50 days from full emergence to the beginning of technical maturity. This makes it particularly attractive for garden and vegetable plot cultivation and allows for the use of the fresh product over a short storage period.

The plant's appearance is characterized by an upright rosette of leaves, long narrow obovate gray-green leaves. The root has a carrot-like shape with white skin and a weak rough surface; the head is flat, and the base is broadly acute. The flesh is juicy, translucent white, and the root mass usually weighs 400–450 grams. The variety's taste qualities are noted as excellent, and resistance to flowering ensures a stable yield.

Yield reaches 6.0–6.2 kg/m², which confirms the efficiency of this variety under garden and vegetable plot production conditions. "UVALEN" was developed by OOO "Dachnaya Akademija" and included in the register of approved varieties in 2017, but patent information is missing. The variety is recommended for fresh consumption and is not intended for long-term storage.
