OKURA CROSS

Okura Cross is a hybrid daikon of medium maturity that reaches maturity 60‑70 days after sowing. The variety differs in high yield: in open ground, it is possible to get up to 7.5 kg of root per square meter. Thanks to resistance to bolting and moderate resistance to black spot, plants maintain fruit integrity even under unfavorable weather conditions.

Okura Cross root has a long cylindrical shape with a white smooth skin. Its size ranges from 30 to 42 cm in length and about 7 cm in width, the fruit mass is usually in the range of 400–700 grams. The flesh of the root is juicy, white, with a slight bitterness, which makes it especially valuable for fresh consumption.

The variety is recommended for growing in summer as part of a summer sowing. It is well suited for fresh consumption and short-term storage due to its resistance to decomposition.
