Description MARUSINSKY 488
Marusinsky 488 is a hybrid clover variety intended for use as a forage crop. This variety was registered in 1974 and is characterized by high dry matter yield, reaching up to 10 tons per hectare, as well as a seed yield of up to 350 kilograms per hectare. Clover has good taste and is undemanding in cultivation, making it in demand among agricultural producers.

The Marusinsky 488 variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to pests and diseases, including moderate susceptibility to clover rust and low susceptibility to anthracnose. It is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including northern regions of Russia, such as the Murmansk region, the Republic of Karelia, the Republic of Komi, as well as the Kaliningrad, Kostroma, Leningrad, Novgorod, Pskov, Tver, and Yaroslavl regions.

Marusinsky 488 is a bi-cut variety of hybrid pink clover with a vegetative period of 5 to 70 days, which allows it to be used in pastures and as an additional source of feed for livestock. The recommended sowing rate is 6-8 kg per hectare, which ensures optimal development and maximum productivity of the crop.
