Clover Ermak

Built for Resilience: Why Ermak is the Choice for High-Traffic Lawns

The Alsike clover (Trifolium hybridum) variety "Ermak," developed by the Tyumen Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, proves that low maintenance can go hand-in-hand with superior durability. Unlike many lawn mixes that demand perfect conditions, this variety was specifically adapted to harsh environmental challenges, making it a strategic choice for surfaces subject to heavy use.

Key Advantages

• Traffic Tolerance: Breeders focused on creating exceptional resistance to trampling. This makes it an ideal candidate for public parks, recreational areas, and high-foot-traffic pathways.
• Rapid Recovery: Ermak is recognized for its quick regrowth cycle following mowing. The turf recovers rapidly, maintaining a dense, uniform appearance without patchy areas.
• Disease Resistance: Natural resistance to anthracnose and potato wart disease significantly reduces the risk of crop degradation, saving agronomists from excessive fungicide applications.

Who is this variety for?

Ermak is designed for professionals managing landscaping projects in regions with challenging growing conditions. If your objective is to cultivate a dense, pink-flowering lawn that handles constant foot traffic without demanding constant care, this variety is a reliable solution. It is not intended for high-maintenance, strictly decorative lawns; its core strength lies in its durability and stability under real-world operational pressure.
