SEVERODVINSK 326

SEVERODVINSK 326 is a hybrid clover (Trifolium hybridum L.) belonging to the legume group of grasses, intended for agricultural use, including green covers, plant fodder, and establishment of meadows and pastures. This variety was bred by crossing followed by multiple mass selection and registered in 1963, confirming its proven effectiveness and adaptation to various regions of Russia.

The plant is perennial with a powerful root system: the main taproot penetrates up to 2-3 meters deep, while the main mass of roots is located at a depth of 5-50 cm. Stems are erect or ascending, branched, ranging from 30 to 65 cm and more in length. Leaves are bright green, elongated-oval, hairless, and the inflorescences represent loose, rounded, flattened heads of pinkish-white color. Fruits are elliptic pods with two to four seeds; seeds are round, green and dark green, with the mass of 1000 seeds being approximately 0.89 g.

SEVERODVINSK 326 is distinguished by high yield: up to 9 tons of hay per hectare and a significant dry matter collection, varying by region from 27.3 to 105.2 c/ha. The vegetative period from spring regrowth to the first cut is 64-108 days, and to seed harvest - 120-140 days, which corresponds to the average standard. The variety is resistant to pests and diseases, and in terms of protein content and collection, it is comparable to the benchmark variety Pervenets, making it valuable for feed purposes and increasing soil fertility.
