Description Spicy
SPICY is a variety of red lentil, characterized by bright orange cotyledons and medium plant height ranging from 29 to 56 cm. The seeds have medium mass (31–38 g per 1000 units) and contain up to 31.5% protein, making them a valuable source of plant protein for vegetarians, vegans, and those aiming to reduce meat consumption. Lentils are drought-resistant, resistant to lodging and shattering, and cook quickly – requiring no pre-soaking, boiling takes only 15–20 minutes.

This product offers wide culinary possibilities: from soups and purees to salads, cutlets, burgers, pâtés, and hummus. Thanks to its high fiber content, lentils improve digestion, promote a feeling of fullness, and help control weight. They also contain iron, which maintains normal energy levels and prevents anemia.

SPICY is grown in ecologically clean areas without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, ensuring the preservation of all the product's beneficial properties. The taste of the lentils differs from the 'plate' variety, imparting an exotic touch to dishes. Preparation is simple: sauté onions and garlic, add other ingredients (e.g., tomatoes in their own juice, spinach, cream or their substitute), and boil for 20–25 minutes until the seeds are tender. Serve with fresh herbs for a bright finish.
