Lentil Light

Culinary Excellence and Agricultural Reliability

The 'Svetlaya' lentil variety, developed by the Federal Scientific Center for Legumes and Grops, represents a significant achievement in domestic plant breeding. Unlike many international varieties that struggle with climate instability, Svetlaya provides consistent performance, making it a reliable asset for producers aiming for high-quality food-grade yields.

Key Advantages of Svetlaya

• Superior Culinary Profile: With its distinct green seeds, this variety is prized by culinary professionals. Its ability to retain shape during cooking makes it the gold standard for high-end side dishes, salads, and soups.
• Harvest Efficiency: The variety is bred for resilience, particularly regarding lodging resistance. This feature is vital for mechanized farming, as it reduces crop loss and eases the harvesting process.
• Market Consistency: Producers favor this variety for its predictable cooking time and uniform grain size, which are essential requirements for food processors and retail packaging.

Who Should Choose This Variety?

Svetlaya is the optimal choice for commercial farmers looking to balance production costs with market value. Because it is optimized for food consumption, it commands a strong position in the culinary supply chain. If you are a grower looking for a low-maintenance, high-yield variety that delivers excellent consistency in the kitchen, Svetlaya offers the perfect blend of agronomic performance and end-user quality.
