Description AIDA
AIDA lentil variety is a mid-season option with a 74–90 day growing period, ensuring flexibility in sowing and harvesting planning. Plants reach a height of 32–55 cm, have elongated-oval leaflets, and white flowers with characteristic bluish veins, usually two to three per inflorescence. Seeds are green-yellow, decorated with a pattern, and cotyledons are yellow, round-flat.

AIDA is distinguished by its resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought at the level of standard varieties, making it suitable for cultivation in both the Oryol and Saratov regions. On chernozem soils, yield reaches 25.5 c/ha, while in the Saratov region, the maximum figure is 30.1 c/ha (2008). In the Oryol region, the average yield is 16 c/ha, which corresponds to the Rauz standard.

Grain quality is high: protein content varies from 26.8% to 28.3%, and commercial and culinary properties are rated as excellent. The mass of 1000 seeds is in the range of 60–73 g. During testing, the variety did not show signs of disease, confirming its stability and reliability for commercial cultivation.
